We couldn't do any of this without your amazing fundraising, donations and legacies.
Your donations mean together we can provide information, support and services to people living with MS, and fund millions of pounds of MS research every year. Thank you. You're incredible.
Last year we invested £1.8m into 11 exciting new research projects. Whether it's funding millions of pounds of MS research, being a kind voice at the end of the phone, helping people make sense of their diagnosis, giving grants to people who need them most or campaigning against welfare cuts. We literally couldn't do it without you.
Our MS Helpline responded to over 16,800 enquiries last year, and was awarded Helpline of the Year at the Helpline Partnerships Awards.
We gave 715 national Health and Wellbeing grants to help people with MS live well. And 86 national Carers Grants to help carers improve their wellbeing, learn new skills and find ways to relax.
We asked UK soul singer Junior Giscombe to share his experience of MS in his own words. Junior and Jenique’s story is emotional and challenging, but also a story of strength and determination. We feel it is important to share stories that show all aspects of people’s experience of living with MS. Junior sadly lost both his partner and daughter Jenique.
Jenique was a gifted singer, but passed away aged just 32. Describing Jenique, Junior said, “She was a beautiful soul who loved life. She helped those who loved her to always see a brighter day – even living with MS. Every day she’d wake up and sing. Her legacy has been to inspire others to be you. Regardless of what’s going on around you – be you. Stay you.”
Your support will help us stop MS. Because together we are stronger.
